From February 27th to 28th, the "Please Come In" Commercial Activities and Instrumentation Industry Development Symposium in Dandong City, Liaoning Province was held. At the symposium, the participants conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the development status of the instrumentation industry, domestic and foreign industry development trends, and Dandong's instrumentation industry development strategy, organization of large-scale industry events in Dandong, and industry cooperation.

Dandong Mayor Zhang Shuping pointed out in his speech that the instrumentation industry is an important foundation and pillar industry of Dandong's national economy. Since the implementation of the strategy of revitalizing the old industrial base in Northeast China, Dandong has continued to make efforts to make the light industry bigger, stronger and better. In 2018, Dandong City took the development of the instrumentation industry as an important support for industrial transformation and upgrading and promoting high-quality development. It implemented the plan to revitalize Dandong's light industry city and issued a series of support policies. At present, Dandong has become the main instrument and meter production base with Liaoning Province as the main production base, with a solid industrial foundation, broad prospects and promising prospects.

Located in the Instrument and Meter Industrial Park in Dandong New District, it has a good industrial foundation and is an industrial base of provincial concern. The park has a built-up area of ​​2 square kilometers and has 146 existing enterprises. It has initially formed a unique, special-purpose instrumentation, electronic and electrical, automatic control system, medical, academic and scientific testing instruments, sensors and other equipment. The industrial system and the upstream and downstream industrial chains are mature.

After the symposium, the China Instrument and Meter Industry Association signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Dandong Municipal Government. According to the agreement, the two parties will jointly mobilize the strength and resources of all parties in the future to further promote the structural adjustment, transformation and upgrading of the instrumentation industry in Dandong, and achieve steady progress and high-quality development; laying a solid foundation for the healthy development of the instrumentation industry in Dandong The foundation also cultivates new growth points and new industrial core areas for my country's instrumentation industry.
